My power button probelm was due to the case. The coloured official case you can buy seperately was too tight and caused to button to become stuck if you pressed it on the lower half. In order to fix, I went back to my primal insticts and nawed the case edge near the power button. It's dented there now, but not noticable and the power button works flawlessly now.
Either that or get a new case.
