Hi, so I orded a new dock assembly for my iPhone from ebay because ifixit was sold out and I installed it tonight (what a fun ride that was....) but the speaker sounds terrible. Only way I can describe it is that it sounds very rumbly or screechy. The part looks exactly the same (all the same writing, apple and what not) as the one I took out so I think it's a genuine part.
My question is, do you think the part is faulty or do you think it's not genuine part but a cheap rip off with a crapy speaker in it?
