harddisk replaced, now book wont startup

harddisk was working fine (OS10.3.6) but very small (60 Giga), replaced it by a full working 120 giga disk from a powerbook g4 15" with OS X 10.4. stopped loading in process all times. replaced it with the old one again. now book does neither start nor shows any reaction , fannoise etc. book stays dead. powersupply lights orange without battery, with battery that is full (5 green butttons) lights green.

anyone any idea what the problem might be?
