Actually, there are 2 different styles of logic boards common to this model 1181. One would use an 820-1889A replacement board ( 2.0, 2.1, 2.4 ) off the top of my head.... The other 2006-early 2007 would use an 820-2279 board which utilizes an Intel T8100 chip set.... Don't be put off by the tech talk. The only real difference is that the speakers fans and sensors have different style connectors but this is extremely important. If you are not sure, you will need to remove the keyboard and and right side RAM chip to see the board number. Be sure to order the proper speed or greater in that board style as some sellers do not specify the processor speed unless asked. The secondary market is alive and well for these replacement boards .... Make sure any part you buy is fully tested and guaranteed.... Good luck...
