Yup! Suck button....I read a few of these posts and went for it! Not techie or digitally inclined this was a reach. So I Googled "iFixit & R. Barrios" and found this:

[guide|3563]

I followed the photos, had to improvise with a hairdryer and I used my nail file to slim-down my eyeglasses repair kit screwdriver to fit the tiny screws; and it all worked!

Once I got to the button part (Step 11 on the above website) I didn't even have to pull it all out. I repositioned the tiny metal square that I think is supposed to transfer the button 'click' to the metal circle thing that is connected to the computer part. I pushed it all back into position and covered it with the black tape that is in the ipod compartment. Then I tested the button for a 'click'-ish motion. It now had one. I crossed my fingers and retraced my steps (backwards) through the photos and screws. Presto! Button has been fixed!!!

Hope this helps :)

Cheers!
