Hookup with MacBookPro 17" 3.06 GHz Intel

Since there is no more a 400 Firewire as in the previous machines, I am unable to synchronize with my MacBook Pro 17" 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

The USB does not allow to synchronize. Is there an adapter to solve this problem?
