My 3rd Generation iPod still runs like a champ but I've been having trouble syncing & charging it lately. The iPod's connection to the firewire cable is a little bit loose - if I hold the firewire cable perfectly still at the perfect angle, Itunes will recognize the iPod & all is well but this does get a bit tedious :-) I've cleaned the port and tried different cables so I'm confident that the problem is with the iPod port itself. Is this a replaceable part?
