You may have a damaged temp sensor which is attached to and underneath the ribbon which is visible when the battery is removed. If your machine fans run high when the AC is plugged in and then the fans slow after the AC is removed this may be your issue. You can purchase a replacement ribbon which has a new sensor on it.
