Yeah, you cant even really see that so you might get lucky and they'll replace it without you telling them that it bent because of the battery expanding. They also wont accept that it came this way. Update on my situation: My dad handled it (im only 16), and after 2 weeks of waiting for a response from Renee (some apple supervisor) we decided to call to see whats going on. He already explained to them that hes not going to pay another 270 to get it replaced and guess what? The woman who answered told us the same thing. So he asks to speak to her manager because clearly she doesnt know anything. We wait for 10 minutes on hold. After 10 minutes SHE comes back saying that her manager said that its accidental damage and we should pay (my dad and i dont even think she talked to her manager at all!) So dad got really angry and told her to send him an email with all of this information (how much to replace, her name, manager's name, etc..) so he can take it to all of the big newspapers around to show how apple treats their customers. "But i can't send an email!" she said alarmed. "Ok then why am I even talking to you?? Put your manager on the phone." dad said. After another 5 min of waiting (which i think she told her manager the situation and how angry my dad is) Adam got on the phone with the calmest voice ive ever hear. He said that he's going to send an empty box, where we are going to put the iphone in and he will send us a replacement unit. He also said that there is a 0.1% chance that we will have to pay. (the percentage is so low because everything still works on my iphone). So i just sent in my phone and am waiting on a response from them. Sorry for the lack of editing and my bad english but this isnt my english class. Let us know how you do chris. Good Luck!
