Reanna the hard reset that Jamie is telling you to do is a good idea to start out, and you should hold the buttons for more like 30 seconds, if nothing happens then I would take the back off the phone and make sure the battery is connected properly, if all is well with that, then I would plug it into a charger and see if that makes it power on, if that doesn't work open Itunes on your pc and plug the phone into it and see if its recognized, if it doesn't the next thing would be to put it in dfu mode while its plugged in and try for a restore, here is how, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSQgy-ZHr30, that will keep you busy and hopefully one of them will work, keep me posted, good luck. + Reanna you might have a tiny piece of glass behind the home button just for idea's, it's hard to see all of them without magnification, if you do teardown your phone I recommend removing the 2 sided adhesive on the mid-frame around the home button and around the earspeaker and front camera, by doing that you will remove all glass and debris.
