Has anyone figured out whats causing this? The 2008 Macbook was completely dead so I decided to take a chance, take the logic board out and clean it. I also cleaned off the Thermal paste from the CPU/GPU since I had it opened already. I put everything back together only to find out the keyboard was not working which is why the Macbook wasn't turning on. I then jumped the power using the pads on the Logic board and viola, it powered up. The only issue now are these annoying white lines. I plugged into an external display and no issues at all. The lines come and go, sometimes longer than usual. As I am typing this everything is fine but if I move the LCD in any way the lines come back.... any ideas? I've cleaned the ribbons, reseated etc.
