Well Miss Stabenow, the LCD may not be the problem, but the digitizer,(The part that give your phone its touch screen capabilities) may be the problem. That's why Sprint wanted to replace it. First try to give your phone a hard reboot. If that doesn't work, then you may want to get your digitizer replaced. But tell sprint you only want the DIGITIZER replaced only, not the whole display assembly. Hope I helped and happy repairing.
