iPhone 7: Does replacing the logic board bypass iCloud lock

I have a iPhone 7 I’m dealing with an iCloud lock the locks stored on the board from what I know so does replacing a logic board bypass the iCloud lock fully i have a logic board that’s fully unlocked I just need to know how to replace it and how to reinstall the adhesive that goes around the screen

The story is I got this from a friend who has no access to it he says it’s fully functioning and wiped it’s just he cannot access it due to lack of proof that he purchased it he heard about me and how I fix old phones and tablets and says if I fix it I can keep it as he already has the 12 so I’m asking here for help

(I added this for information I told apple what I told you they like aways said that it’s unfixable and it’s better off I dump it and get a new one)

Thanks for the help appreciated

iPhone SE 2020: iPhone SE did not recognise ifixit battery as genuine

Last year I purchased a replacement battery for my iPhone SE2020. I followed the instructions on this site on how to replace it and did so very carefully however when I reassembled the phone the home button at the bottom of the screen did not work and I received a message saying that it was the wrong battery, I found a workaround on here so I could bypass the home button and have been doing that for some months now. It can be a little frustrating as I can no longer use the fingerprint to open the phone and have to enter the pin for everything.

Has anybody else replaced the iPhone SE battery and had it work normally.

Cheers Mark

iPhone 13 Pro Max: iPhone 13 Pro Max - Power Leak After Water Damage

iPhone 13 Pro Max - Power Leak After Water Damage (Device Previously Underwent Motherboard Repair)

Description:

Hi everyone, I need help with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I'm a regular user, not a professional technician, but I've disassembled the phone to check.

• Background: This phone has had a motherboard repair (motherboard replacement/mainboard replacement) before and was working fine.

• Problem: Recently, the phone was water damaged. A technician helped restart the phone, but now it's experiencing a serious power leak (battery drain).

• Current Status: The phone powers on, but the battery percentage drops rapidly even in standby mode.

• Request: Given the history of previous motherboard repairs and recent liquid exposure:

1. Can you provide a video or visual guide on how to locate the leak?

2. Which specific areas on the iPhone 13 Pro Max motherboard are most susceptible to short circuits after water damage, especially if they have been previously repaired?

3. I have attached a screenshot of the device's current state (image.png).

4. Can I repair it myself? Please help me. I need guidance on what to check next using basic tools. Thank you!

iPhone 7: Phone stopped charging after battery replacement

Got an interesting issue with my iphone 7

I was simply replacing the battery on it, but eventually it won’t charge. There is certainly no issue with the cable (cause I’ve tried many) or the battery.

What’s interesting though is that when it is turned off and plugged in it turns itself on, like it should, but does not charge. It is also not recognized by the computer.

I have tried to connect the old battery, but it acts in the same way.

One thing that I’m afraid might have cause the problem: when connecting the display I accidentally plugged the battery before the display connector, realized my mistake, unplugged it, plugged the display and then the battery. Turned the phone on. Everything is working except it does not charge when plugged it in.

Will be grateful for any advice or information about the issue!
