galaxy s21: Screen broke after dropped. Worth repairing, or just get a replacement

Let me describe the specific issue, because it's a bit odd. I am confident it's broke on one corner because there is a green line that goes across the bottom of the screen near that corner where it's cracked–however! The odd part is that it would randomly display either dim or completely normal when you turn it on. I'd say about a 1/15 chance it would display normal. Now the green bar has gotten bigger, and the screen flickers a lot, and I haven't got it to display normal. So is this the kind of thing worth getting repaired? Or, should we just look for a new phone?

Extra details, and extra questions:

The screen flashes very bright and very high contrast, then goes down to its yellowish faded dim flickering state. The green bar also used to start fat on turning on display, then it would instantly turn to a needle sized line. What's up with how it would display normally occasionally? Is this a short of some kind?

galaxy s21: Battery draining rapidly without a reason

I have had my phones for 2 years and suddenly the battery is draining rapidly. It would be 90% and then in about 20 mins it would go down to 0. This just started happening. I have no heavy use. Just Uber driver, doordash and grubhub chrome redditt and sometimes Youtube. That's it. no games no continues streaming nothing that would justify a rapid drainage. I have followed Youtube to get answers and have done everything like apps in deep sleep, always on turned off, adaptative bigness turned off. refresh rate down to low. When I run a Care check everything looks good. Not sure what's happening. I though I might need a OS upgrade because I had a version 7 and so I upgraded and still same thing. Anyone have this issue? Will battery replacement help?

galaxy s21: Screen stopped working after dropping

I've just dropped my phone (not a very hard impact at all, it was from me sitting on a chair to the ground) and green lines appeared on my screen before it all went black. My phone doesn't buzz when I connect it to charge anymore, and the charging icon doesn't appear. Also, it wouldn't let me force restart it, it doesn't do anything.

There are no cracks at all in the phone, and I only got it a month and a half ago. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Update (04/24/26)

I also hear something shaking inside slightly when I shake my phone.

Another update,

It seems that my phone itself is working fine. I can turn the screen 'on' and 'off' and can press the buttons that I would use to type in my password, and I was even able to turn the flashlight on. However, the screen is still all black with the occasional green glitch on the screen when the phone is turned 'on.'
