Tamagotchi: Disconnected Wires; Soldering Necessary?

Hello! I've taken my old Tamagotchi apart for repairs, but it seems one of the little wires popped off the... speaker cell? The little round part that is not the battery. Do I need to solder it back on? If yes, what soldering kit should I get? I know I would need something with an extremely small tip, but I have never soldered anything before. Is there a certain temperature to use? Anything else I need to know about soldering small things?

For clarification's sake, one of the white wires in this picture is what has detached.

Thank you for reading!

Tamagotchi: Where to find replacement USB C port for Tamagotchi Uni

I have a Tamagotchi Uni I got from someone who fried the USB port with the wrong power adapter. From what I can tell the board is still fine, I just need to replace the USB port. I can't seem to find a replacement part for the USB C port though. It looks like it has 6 pins. Anyone know where to find a replacement port? I can solder the new one once I have the part.

Teddy Ruxpin: My Teddy Ruxpin does not play cassettes properly, please Help!

Hi,

My Teddy Ruxpin plays the tape and moves its mouth and eyes just fine. However, when Teddy is telling the story he will not produce any sound (or very low in and out static sound) every few seconds. When I tap the volume dial or lean it against something, or just fidget with it , the sound comes back and Teddy is speaking much better. I cannot get him to tell the story audibly for more than a few seconds at a time and without my messing with the dial.

The other issue is sometimes the tape will stop and the cassette deck will open slightly and then I have to close it again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Or, if he needs repairs I am happy to hear your referrals of places I can bring him to possibly repair these issues.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,

Nicole

The Claw: How to open the gear box or re-thread the chain on The Claw?

I am trying to repair the chain on my 'The Claw' arcade toy because it is jammed. I have already followed the guides to remove the top cover and the internal top flange (Step 7 of the Claw Replacement guide), but I cannot see how to access the internal chain assembly or the gear box to re-thread the chain.

The chain seems to be stuck or disconnected inside the motor/gear box housing. Does anyone know how to safely open the gear box or re-thread the chain onto the internal pulleys once the top flange is removed? Any photos or tips on the internal pulley configuration would be greatly appreciated!
