PlayStation 4: How to fix Eject sensor?

I recently purchased a used ps4 that has an issue with the eject sensor/button. The system reads and ejects discs just fine as long as I do it through the menu. So my issue is just the button or sensor. The power button and sensor work perfectly fine. Does it need a new button or could something be disconnected? Any help would be great!

PlayStation 5: beep, no power repair

Hello,

I am repairing some PS5 console with common beep - no power issue. I quickly measured common locations for shorts and I think I found one, but I'm not really sure if it's a short or is intended behaviour. It's near Dialog DA9081 power management chip, where an inductor (at least I think it is) is connected from what it looks like to me a common connection of pins 21, 22, 23 and 24 - although I find this very strange, as 21 and 22 are analog inputs, 24 is positive voltage terminal and 23 is analog ground. The other side of this inductor is shorted to ground, but there are clearly some capacitors so I think there should not be a short. Before I remove the chip I would like to hear your opinion.
I removed this what I think was inductor and took a shot with my microscope. Rectangle is where inductor was and I marked the X spot where I'm measuring against ground. I must say that short is only measured if I put positive probe to X and negative to ground. If I reverse it, I don't get a short.

BTw, anyone would know what value is this inductor so I can replace it once I find a defect?
Thanks

PlayStation 2: Can I change a 230 power board for a 120 one

Hi! I have a French FAT PS2, SCPH-39004, that takes AC 220~240V as input, but I moved to Canada a couple years back, and power here is at 120V.

I didn't want to buy back a new consoles and my games. Since modern TVs don't have the PAL vs NTSC limitation anymore I would like to be able to use it, but I need to use an external step up transformer which is bothering, so I wondered if it would be doable to find a 120V power board and replace mine with it, so it can actually run naturally, or if components inside other than the power board makes that impossible?

Thank you for your help!

PlayStation 2: PS1 games do not read

Recently ive gotten a ps1 game and it doesnt read at all. I have a scph 39004, I dont think I have an official laser on it, my brothers back in the day took it to a repair shop because ps2 games wernt reading. Ive never played ps1 games on it, It maybe was able to read it dunno. The disc as tiny scratches but its really smudged up PS2 games work fine.

Actually it read a few times when the device was warm to the touch around 1200-900 ohms on the CD pot (not sure exactly the resistance because i didnt know how to use the multimeter). It worked once at 840 on restart but not again.

Ive done alot of test, audioCDs work but the ps1 game doesnt work, ive tried 930, 860, 840, 760 and 700ohms audioCD work every time but the ps1 game doesnt. It always loads up the memory card menu when it fails, and stays spinning on consistent speed even after it fails, so its reading the disc but fails?

PlayStation 2: no video or audio output through any connection type, cable works

just bought this ps2 from someone who also had just bought it from someone else on ebay. Apparently it worked fine for around a day or two then stopped displaying on the screen. I have tried multiple cables, the blind connection swap trick, I have cleaned the console and even tested the fuses and some other bits on the board with a multimeter, not sure what they were but i followed a video (i am very new to this so if i say the wrong names for things forgive me). I am not sure what to check next or if it is just a faulty AV port as i do see some rust in there which i have tried cleaning with some alcohol. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated i am so lost on what could be wrong o~o

PlayStation 5: Please help, disc drive not responding or accepting discs, cant update

Guys, could you please give me some advice?

Bought a PS5 someone had kinda misled me on but anyways, disc version non-slim, wouldn't update or accept discs, looked up the error code, all connections to the disc drive looked okay so that led me to the conclusion the drive had failed/needed to replace it

I replaced the drive, made sure to transfer the board from the old drive to it, put everything back together, and there was no response from the eject button, reseated the ribbon a couple times and now the eject button is back to functioning but... it still doesn't accept discs on new drive

no sounds, no whirring, no response from the button, is it as simple as getting a new ribbon cable or like what does my problem sound like? someone please help

PlayStation 2 Slimline SCPH-9000X: PS2 Game Discs Not Reading on YPbPr Video Output

I recently took my PS2 Slim (90001 model) to a repair shop because the laser was failing. They fixed and returned it, but the games still wouldn't read and I was having trouble displaying it on my TV, so I took it back. They replaced the laser again and were also having trouble having it display, but they were able to make it work using a xyab AV to HDMI adapter. I took the PS2 back to my place and tried an xyab adapter myself, and it technically works, but the video quality is very poor. I realized that my game discs now read successfully when setting the PS2 video output to RGB, but they don't read when I set it to YPbPr (the PS2 still displays on the TV, it just stays on the home screen and doesn't read the game discs). I need the YPbPr output to work because I recently bought a RetroTink 5x to get better video quality, and it doesn't work on RGB output.

PlayStation 4: How can I know if my power supply is faulty or not?

Ok. So couple of weeks before i got a issue with the 4 pin power wire from PSU to motherboard. I wiggled it a bit more and it got destroyed. I went to the repair shop to make it they fixed the wire somehow but After that I got the PS4 on and off issue. Then i asked the repairer he said he couldnot fix it . Its probably the power supply or the APU. But in my case I think its the PSU. So how can I know if my powersupply is faulty or not without putting it into another ps4 or whatsoever. I donot want to spend 50 bucks if the powersupply is alright. And if its not how can I fix the problem . It turns on for a second or two and shuts down .
