Anyway, about a year ago it was quite hard to charge and I had to sometimes put it on a certain angle for it to charge but eventually that went away after a month and started charging normally again.

But recently its been really difficult to charge and now it wont charge at all! I've tried scraping the usb port for lint and I've tried taking out the battery and I use all sorts of different chargers so that isn't the problem (unless its because I'm using off-brand chargers?)

I have dropped my phone quite a lot too so that could be the problem but I'm not sure..

I'd like to be able to fix it without going to a repair shop but I will if its necessary

After the missed call, I tried pressing the power button, volume buttons, tapping the screen, and nothing happened. I asked my mom to call me again, and the phone vibrated normally, but the screen did not turn on. I force restarted my phone by holding the power and volume down buttons for 7 seconds, and I felt my phone vibrate. I waited for a little bit, but now it seems that the phone just won't turn on at all. No charging symbol, my pc doesn't detect it, and calls get forwarded.

The phone was working perfectly fine before the first call, and there were no signs of any problems with the phone, I've dropped it a couple of times, never spilled anything on it or dropped it in water. Had the phone for 2 years.

Update: The phone powered on, but screen is still black. Does this call for a screen replacement? I just don't get how it just suddenly stops working minutes after I used it

Update #2: I'm able to control the phone and see the screen with the phone link app on my pc. My phone failed the proximity and face recognition tests.

The problem is that the phone is not turning on!

I have changed the entire display Super AMOLED but the phone not turn on!

It's died and when i use the mainboard externally with the charger (without is not do anything) i feels that is very very hot but the soft touch keys is turning on... no display, no sound and nothing, only overheating a lot...

Any suggestion? :(

"I think I cut the display cable"

Just a followup question, please, as I have the same problem. Does your comment "Yup, looks like you will need a new one. It looks like the cable is an integrated part of the screen and not replaceable by itself" mean that replacing the screen in fact also automatically takes care of the broken cable?

I ask because I don't want to spend the money having the screen replaced only to find out that the cable is a seperate issue--as I can only find local and distant repairs for screen only-- and that I have to then go ahead and buy a new phone. Thanks!

Every time I try to charge my phone by cable, it powers off completely and doesn't proceed to charging. I've tried multiple cables with different charging power, I've removed dust from the charging station. If I charge it wirelessly it works, but it's painfully slow. What should I do? Should I change one of the parts of my phone?

I put all the pieces back like they were over and over to figure it out but the touch screen is not working. Sound is coming out and it turns on and the display looks good but I can't open it due to the touch screen not working. Any ideas?

I installed Open Camera to test this out. In OC, i get a toast message "failed to start camera preview" then immediately another toast "serious camera error". I can switch to front camera (ID1), with no problem. And can switch to rear ultra-wide camera (ID2). The wide and telephoto module seems to not work.

Any suggestions before i try to open and try to replace the module?

Update: I opened the phone up (thank you, iFixit, for the tardown vid) and completely disconnected the rear camera module and booted the phone back up. Got the exact same errors. Seems like the module is dead or the connector between the motherboard and camera module. I put the phone back together and got the same result again.

I ordered a replacement, rear camera module (unfortunately, when i checked iFixits website, they dont offer that part). Hope that fixes my issue.

I tried opening it up to see if there was any moisture in it (I sometimes wipe my phones off with a damp cloth) and saw nothing. I let it sit under a fan overnight just in case, still nothing. Checked the main connections, nothing.

What should I try here first? I am already buying another phone I just need the data off of this one, but I can't even get it to connect to my PC. There is no visible water or debris in the charge port and I've tried several cables.

On 29/03/24, I asked a good review phone repair man to replace my phone's screen and battery. After repair, my phone was rubber-banded to give pressure and glue to bond. The next day, I removed the rubber band and started my phone, then I proceeded to use my phone as normally as a normal person (switching and opening apps, playing games, etc.) After a while, my phone started to overheat, and so did the usual close apps and remove the phone case. I thought it was a one-time event, but throughout the day, the phone kept heating up after a normal or heavy load.

The repairman screw up or I reduce to use one app at time

The top corner screws above the vibrator it is connected to a ribbon ..

The screws are triangle .
