I have been trying everything I can find on google and youtube (short of downloading a sketchy exe file), but I can't reset the page counter. I already cleaned out the ink absorber pads, but my printer won't print until this has been reset. I hate planned obsolescence.

Hello what to do we got a new MANUAL no batteries the cheapest version of dynamo maker and some of the letters are not being printed. Any suggestions? We tried to see if there's glue or something stick inside and it doesn't seem to be the case.

Epson ET-3760 Printer: Where did this spring come from, and how can I put it back?

This printer was having paper jam after paper jam. I would simply open the back and pull the sheet out as instructed, but the last time it jammed, the paper was too stuck and tore. My dad ended up getting it out (turns out there's still a tiny bit left in there: any tips?), but as he did so, this spring came out. He says he didn't unscrew anything, but the back was open and at some point he accessed the underside (above the tray).

Update: an identical spring came loose and I grabbed it. It came from maybe 6 inches deep. There's a plastic piece 2-2.5 inches wide that is now loose, which can be pushed up on both sides. I can't get my phone camera to focus that deep, but I have a picture of a prying tool lying passively under it and then another of it pushed up, where you can now see some light:

So we're going to try to take the printer apart.

It was indeed Paper Guide Upper Right.

Unfortunately, poor little Paper Guide Upper Right is broken:

I replaced the toner with new one, not from samsung. I printed two times only and now I have "Install toner" message. I removed, shaked and reinstall many times without success.

Thanks for your reply! Can you be more specific please? What to look for on ebay, or internet (kit, hard reset)? I mean what to write on search? This will help a lot.

Printer is Samsung SCX-4623FW.

The buttons on the touch screen panel do not press. There seems to be cork like substance, which has come off in some keys. Could this be the problem?

I used a not genuine ink to see if it will work so i can save money. The problem started after the ink tank is almost half. First the magenta was missing then the black. I also looked for solution and performed it. So far nothing happened. Can someone please help? Thank you. 🥰

Good morning everyone,

I've had the bad idea to upgrade the firmware of our Epson WF-7840 (version CD17M6 now).

Now, our non epson cartridges are not recognised anymore.

I've search the web about how to downgrade the firmware. I found the procedure, found how to put the printer in "recovery mode" and, on the Epson website, I found the "Recovery Mode Firmware version CB08LC" for the Epson WF-7840.

But it doesn't work...

First problem, the model of the printer does not appear in the "Epson firmware updater" but it sees that a printer is connected.

Second problem, and it is where it stops, when I launch the Update, it fails with a message on the printer's screen "Data file not found".

I tried with my mac (macbook pro 16" m1 max) and with an older macbook pro from 2009 with the same result. I tried with another USB cable and still no luck.

What am I doing wrong?

There's a white line or gap on each line of documents I printed. Is it a printer head problem? I already done deep cleaning from the printer and also it took few minutes to be done (not the usual 1 - 5 mins in the manual). I also tried ink flushing but it doesn't improve, i only wasted more ink. So what should I do? I haven't tried cleaning the cartridges with cleaning solution and I don't know how to do it. I don't know how to identify the real problem or should I just spend and buy a new printer head.

(The colored and black cartridge both have this problem)
