Laptop ini mengalami kerusakan restar sendiri atau nyala mati sebelumnya sekitar 2-4 detik. Lalu setelahnya menjadi mati tidak mau menyala sama sekali pada tegangan coil 5v hilang, untuk tegangan lain normal seperti 3,3v dan arus cas 8,2v ada. Setelah saya biarkan agak lama 3-4 hari bisa hidup kembali dengan gejala yang sama namun belum normal. Bisa bantu saya memecahkan permasalahannya

This laptop is experiencing a restart problem, or it turns on and off for about 2-4 seconds. Then, it shuts down and won't turn on at all. The 5V coil voltage is missing, but other voltages are normal, such as 3.3V, and the charging current is 8.2V. After leaving it for 3-4 days, it restarts with the same symptoms, but it's still not working properly. Could you help me troubleshoot this issue?

Someone has asked me to replace a broken right side hinge on a Latitude 7440 laptop (completely snaped off) but I can't find parts any advice would be welcomed.

(edited as model number was incorrect - was told everyone had same laptop, but some are different)

The screen itself still works fine and the hinge hasn’t completely broken off, but the damage appears to be structural rather than cosmetic. It looks like stress from the hinge is causing the housing to separate further over time.

After waiting for all the parts to be shipped I finally got to replacing the back cover and the screen, I transferred all the cables and components to the new back cover, but when I connected the screen and power the laptop back on the new screen wouldn’t turn on. When I tried putting the old screen back just to see if it lights up it also didn’t work.

An important thing to note is that during the replacement of the screen this small (same size as the one in the screen bezel) magnet just appeared out of nowhere and I don’t know where it came from. Anyway I trued restarting the laptop, resetting the BIOS, even updating the graphics drivers and nothing seems to help. I also wanna mention that with an external monitor the laptop works fine and everything else is working.

i came across a post on Reddit talking about the hall sensor cutoff switch for the screen, that’s normally used to detect when the laptop is closed to turn of the screen, and that it might be stuck in the off position and that’s why the screen isn’t working. However I haven’t been able to locate the hall sensor, even though I know where the magnet in the screen bezel is. Would anytime be able to help me fix this issue?

I’ve been trying to fix my Lenovo Z70-80 laptop for about two weeks now. I’ve already tried a lot of things, but after looking online, I started suspecting the BIOS.

I ordered a CH341 programmer and connected the desoldered BIOS chip to it. What should I do next? I’ve heard that it is not as simple as just flashing a .bin file, and that some BIOS sections should be reprogrammed while others should not.

Where can I find the correct .bin file for this laptop, and is there anything special I need to do before flashing it?

it was one with the invidia death chip I figured (1489)so purchased a board that was listed as alternative lenovo used with intel chip (1487)

just got it replaced and powered up to find?

exact same problem!

bills mounting but i would like to get the darn thing working

fan comes on cant hear much in the way of drive activity…

and when i pressed the vantage button i did briefly see the littl house symbols 2 of them

snuck up on it again and got the house symbols very briefly before they departed again

without hitting the vantage button

I was wondering if you knew what other monitor panel I could use to replace the original one.

I was looking for an OLED, but I couldn't find anything. :C
