Nintendo 2DS: Sd Card Slot Bad

I am pretty sure the SD card slot on the 2ds is bad. I've put different SD cards into it. It always says that the card is write protected. I know that its not.

Is there a way I can fix it? I read somewhere that maybe the arm inside the SD card slot for write protection is broke but I can't find anything on how to fix it or how to replace the whole sd card slot if I buy a new one to replace it. Thanks.

Nintendo 3DS XL 2015: Black screen of death?

So I've had this 3DS for years, it was the first system I ever played on and the first game i ever played on it was Ocarina of Time(good memories) But after nearly a decade now i had the issue where it powers up and you can hear the system sound but the screen stays completely off. I've tried all the old tricks like taking out the wifi panel and holding the L-up and A button when powering on. i checked what i believe is the ribbon cable that attaches to the camera, Speaker and top screen all had corrosion. I've cleaned them all and i still have the same issue as before.

Nintendo 3DS XL: Upper LCD is Dark/Black

The Upper LCD screen is dark/black. I say Dark because if I have a powerful light shine in to it I can still see the game. This probably occurred due to rogue liquid (soda) finding it's way in to my console.

I would like to add this occurred after the top screen was flickering for a few minutes. Then the system shut off, and when I restarted it the top screen has been dark as it is now. Restarts don't change anything.

Everything else functions perfectly normal.

So I followed the Upper LCD Replacement guide, I haven't finished it yet though but everything is taken apart. My question is, should I replace the screen still as depicted in the guide? Or shouldn't there just be some grime (because soda) I can wipe/scrape away? I am incredibly, incredibly poor. I'm making less than my rent right now, which is why I ask. 10$ even is very important.

I found some grime I scraped away on the ribbon on step 18, dunno what that ribbon does though. Could be more elsewhere.

Guide I followed: Nintendo 3DS XL Upper LCD Display Replacement

From this question: How do I fix my black top screen on a 3ds xl?
