Kenwood Chef: I replaced the small pulley on my kenwood chef 300 motor

and despite the fact that my motor was fully operational before replacing the pulley, now the motor (which is i've removed from the housing) doesn't spin unless i manually spin it first.

Then it spins normally but once i turn the dial to zero, when i turn the dial to switch it on again, the pulley/drive gear won't spin until i spin it manually again

So, My Hamilton Beach 63325 stand mixer only wants to work on speed 6. It doesn't seem to have any other issues. No weird noises, no rattling, nothing. I have a hunch it might be the motor, but I'm not too sure. Does anyone know what it could be?

Kenwood Chef: Kenwood Chef XL Gearbox exploded view / washer positions

Does anybody nlow where the top (#1) and the middle (#3)washer go?

Gearbox of a Chef XL, took it apart and these 2 came out of cleaning bucket at the end.

I am pretty certain that:

#2 (2 of them) go on the 2 middle gears, top

#4 bottom, driveshaft that connects to the slow speed

#5 slow speed

KitchenAid Classic Mixer K45SSWH: Spark while replacing brush and now the mixer won't turn on

Messed up while putting the brush spring back into the side of the mixer and left the power on. While inserting the brush head there was a pop and spark. Now when I insert the brush head (double checked the orientation) the motor still won’t turn on. Guess that means I shorted something, but is there anything I can do to fix it from here?

KitchenAid Mixer: Carbon brush stuck in machine

My kitchen aid stand mixer wont turn on. I watched a video and it said that the carbon brushes could be old. My mixer is 1 year old so i said screw it and ill take a look. Turns out the spring was not even on the carbon piece and now i cannot get the carbon brush out of the machine. I dont have tweezers small enough to pull this out and apply the spring to see if this was the problem. Is there any way to help out?

Where can I buy little parts to do preventive maintenance? Mostly washers/bushing/bearing? I'm thinking to clean the old grease and replace it with Super Lube. Thank you in advance!

PS: I have this same model 6000HD for many years and so far it's working fine but thought to open it and make sure that any wearable parts are replaced.

Kenwood Chef: Power started cutting out and then stopped completely

KMC510 model.
Been to the local Repair Cafe and they replaced the PCB KW37865 unit with a new one I had ordered as this was the suspected source of the issue. But it didn't work.
So where else might the problem be? I don't think it's the motor itself as it as working fine and the fact that it started as an intermittent problem makes me think that it's a connection somewhere that has finally gone.
I have been searching for a schematic for the mixer to see what else might be a likely culprit, but to no avail.
Has anyone had a similar problem with a Kenwood Chef mixer and what was the fix? I'm loathed to buy more spare parts as they'll just be stabs in the dark.

I turn it on to STIR. It runs smoothly for a few seconds and then stops. It runs well and smoothly at other speeds so I suspect it is not a damaged gear. Why would it come to a stop so soon after starting cold.

KitchenAid Professional 600: Planetary assembly doesn’t fall out, but drops creating a gap

I bought a used kitchen aid pro 600 6qt. It made jerky movements when mixing. So, I took it all apart. The gears are all fine. But the planetary assemble drops down about a quarter inch and the stationary gear in the main housing slides down with it and creates a gap and jerky movement. Help!

i just bought a super old KitchenAid model 3-C. I did a deep clean on it, taking most of the motor apart and cleaning out the gearbox. I've put it back together and it seems to work fine, but I've got an extra washer (as seen in photo) Usually I would pretend I didn't see the it but I'm trying to better myself lol. Does anyone know recognise it, or know where in might go?

KitchenAid KSM150PSER: Help with a piece that fell out of the back control area

My speed control panel needed adjusting as my stand mixer would only go high speed no matter what setting. When I opened up the back to try adjusting the screws first to fix the speed problem a little piece fell out that is a U-shaped with a rolling metal cylinder on the bottom. It just fell out and I have no idea where it goes or if it’s essential to put back in but I’m guessing so. My model number is KSM155GBSN it is a KitchenAid artisan 5 quart.

my kitchen aid mixer s45ss won't turn on .What happened was when I replaced the worm gear I put it back together and didn't noticed that a wire was pinched and it shorted out so I went on google and they said that I might need to replace different parts so i now replaced the armature ,motor brushes,control plate and speed sensor and it still won't turn on what could be next?

I have a Kitchenaid mixer that's about 10 years old (before they went to plastic insides), and it no longer turns off. Sometimes when I plug it in, it is off, but often, it's already on, and to stop it completely, I have to either push back the speed lever or unplug it. I love this thing, and would love to know how to fix this problem. I'm figuring it's a worn out gear or such, but none of the websites I've found show how to fix this particular problem. Thanks for any help!

KitchenAid Mixer: KitchenAid Mixer head wobbles

I have the KitchenAid Mixer Model KSM180QHSD which is just a 100 year edition, tilt head 5 quart mixer. I bought it new and it's about 3 years old and is only used about once per month. The problem is that when I use it, the head wobbles even though I have it in locked position. I've done the dime test to ensure the beater is not hitting the bottom. I've also checked that the pin is not sticking out. This issue is most noticed when I'm creaming cold cubed butter and sugar, or when the dough consistency gets thicker. Any ideas what the issue is?

Mixer: Ballbearings fell out - how to repair?

Hi folks,

I have a a Vintage (2nd hand) Sunbeam Mixmaster (1950's A10 model) stand mixer. It's been working fine (motor and electrical) until recently when the ball bearings (I suspect) at the bottom of the base just decided to fall out. The rest works just fine (I.e motor and mixer seems to be working just fine).

The whole base plate (this is the underside, I haven't taken anything off)

Any clue how to fix this? I'm relatively handy, but ball bearings are just a mystery to me. I can't seem to find parts manuals for this either, given how old it is, and even if I did, I'd likely need some help with installation/repair.
