I had the RROD so I replaced all the bad caps. It now works but turns off after 5-10 minutes while playing a game. Should I relace all the caps.

Xbox One: Can any Xbox one laser work with a Xbox one model

Hello, I have a question about the Xbox One models and that's if any Xbox One disc laser works with any Xbox One model for example could an original Xbox One laser work with an Xbox One S or Xbox One X which is why I'm wondering because I got an original Xbox one laser coming in the mail for my Xbox one but if I can get a one s or one x on eBay that has a broken laser I would buy one of those to have a better more powerful console.

Xbox Series X: Xbox Series X bluetooth connectivity problems.

My Xbox Series X bluetooth randomly disconnects my controller and headset or sometimes just has a very weak connection which can be felt when playing online multiplayer games.

I have tried different headsets & controllers and have confirmed via troubleshooting that the problem lies within the xbox console.

Does anyone know what internal piece of hardware needs to be replaced to fix this problem?

Xbox One S: My xbox shows a black screen by reacts when I hold the home button

i turn my xbox on, it shows the green loading screen then it just goes black and shows nothing. when i hold the power button down on my controller the option to turn the console off, turn my controller off or to restart my console shows up but that’s all nothing else but a black screen.

Xbox Series X Wireless Controller: My controller is recognized in windows but the led doesnt turn on.

My Xbox controller, which I was installing TMR sticks as soon as I finished installing the sticks, the controller gets connected, and Windows recognizes it as wireless_device, but it doesn't work at all. I installed the right stick first. I tested it and calibrated, and it worked fine, but as soon as I finished the left stick, the controller got recognized, but the LED indicator didn't turn on, and there was no input. The traces were all perfect, and no missing components. Is it the TMR's fault?. I will try desoldering it later, but I want answers, please!!!. thanks.

Update: At a certain point when I barely connect the two boards together it shows the led and if I kinda move even so slightly it stops. And I hear this buzzing noise very low from the controller

Hi guys,

I recently had a Series S brought to me with a power issue. The console power button would flash just once, no beep, then go right off again. I was then able to rule out the power supply and both the power / rf boards using parts from a working console.

After completely stripping the console down, I found a little water damage near the MP2926 IC under the heatsink which has completely ruined the component there. Does anyone know what this component is, and more importantly, the value of it?

I really appreciate anyone taking the time to look at this post, I hope you guys can help me out.

Xbox Series S: When booting up a game the xbox goes back to the dashboard

I can download games fine from the store. However, when I boot up the game, the game boots up and then goes blackscreen for less than a second and the xbox button on the front of the console. Flashes 2-3times and goes back to the dashboard.

My Xbox One S Is Giving Me No Signal On My TV. But The Light Won't Turn On Unless I Press The Eject Button, It Will Run For Maybe 5 Or 10 Minutes Without Picture, Then Power Down. Neither The Power Or Sync Buttons Will Work.

Does Anyone Have Any Clue What's Wrong With It? I'm Thinking About Replacing The HDD Drive And Internet Power Source. Also I Don't Have A Brick Power Cable I've Got Just The Basic Plain Cable If That Helps Any.

The xbox one s will turn on the immediately turn off, ive tried another psu with the same problem.

Ive checked all the mosfet chips and they all come back reading 7.7.

Xbox: Drive opens and closes constantly

Hi,

my original xbox drive once turned on and you press the eject button, the tray opens and then closes constantly and does not stop unless you switch off the unit.

there is no way to stop it from opening and closing.

what do you see as the issue? do I need to replace my drive?

Xbox Series X Wireless Controller: Trigger drifting and can't be calibrated

So I recently been working on soldering with the xbox controllers I had. In total I have like 5 daughter boards. 3 I cleaned up because originally I thought I messed them up but turns out I didn't fully. Anyways I had another daughter board that I removed the old joysticks from and put new ones in. Before I did that I removed the impulse motors and rumble motors from the board so I wouldn't mess them up around that time I put those parts with the other motors I had when I installed the new joysticks I grabbed random motors from the pile I grabbed the correct ones for the rumble motors and the impulse motors I thought I did as well. After putting it back together I went to calibrate the joysticks which calibrated perfectly but there was still drift input which in turn when I went to calibrate the triggers it wouldn't even show me pressing it down. When I pressed it down it just showed on screen that the triggers were half way pressed down. So asking here what it might be because the magnents are perfectly fine and ultimatley I think it might be those impulse motors. I put them in correctly and soldered them in correctly and only issue it could be is that there either in the wrong spots or the wrong motors. I believe that might be the case but just wanting to know so I know what I need to do to fix it.

Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller Series 2: Can not power on without external power

The controller will not switch on without being plugged into the xbox or on the charging Dock.

However once powered up like this I can remove external power source or dock and use wireless as normal, the home button also works in the xbox menu!

It just won't power on when wireless...

Battery is OK as I've swapped it already.

All board connections pads are clean and carbon free.

Any ideas guys n gals

I'm not scared of Pad/trace repairs confident soldering with iron or air, but this has me stumped.....

I had my elite controller plugged into my headset.

It electrocuted my head so I threw it off .

Then it stopped working .

The battery has blown when I opened it up .

So changed the battery I can't see any damage on the board but it won't turn on , no matter what I try ?

My controller shell broke and I threw away the one of the trigger locks thinking the new one I ordered came with them but it didn’t so now I’m looking for a replacement spring because I couldn’t find a complete trigger lock assembly anywhere
