LG G5: Why is my phone overheating and draining battery?

I already tried replacing the battery, but my phone still overheats with what would usually be my normal use. It now drains battery at least 5% in three minutes, and keeps overheating when I try charging it. Charging for some reason also seems to barely do anything. It will charge for an hour and only have an increase of 18%.

LG G5: "Module not Compatible" after replacing USB Cable Ribbon

I replaced my usb ribbon , I have a LG G5 from verizon, however after I replaced the ribbon and tried to boot, it says the module is not compatible, however when I put the original one back in, it works fine. So I think I have the process down well, but for some reason it is saying not compatible and not sure why. I tried 2 different usb ribbons from ebay, both of which say they support the verizon module, so not sure what to do.

Thanks

LG G5: Why my wifi and bluetooth do not turn on?

Hi,

I bought my new phone and started over heating using wifi and charging the phone. I was using the original charging device. After a while the wifi and the bluetooth won't turn on. I factory reseted the device and have it up to date. And still both wont turn on. Is there a repair for the antenna? Is a hardware issue o a software issue?? Where is the antenna located?

LG G5: Phone wont turn on

So I have an LG G5. Phone fell one day and now it refuses to charge or switch on. had it checked by someone, and they reckon the charging port is still in tact and the battery still has charge (how can i verify this myself, i do own a multimeter?).

We have tried another battery, and that hasnt worked either.

Any ideas as to what the issue may be?

LG G5: LG G5 took a hit, screen isn't cracked but phone won't boot.

My phone took a hit and now it won't boot. The screen isn't cracked and doesn't seem to be broken. When I attempt to power it on it vibrates, the blacklight shows briefly, and the notification light snores blue but that's all I get. No power up sounds or anything. I've opened it up and checked out the insides, checked all connections as best I can and everything seems to be in order, plugged in, nothing out of place or broken, etc. I've attempted to boot into recovery mode and no dice.

It's obviously highly likely that there's a hardware problem. I have little option but to repair this phone but I don't know which part I should be replacing. I can't afford to order parts at random until something works so if someone could give me some direction that'd be great. Thanks!

I took it apart again and re seated the cable to make sure it was all the way connected, but it still doesn't work.
LG G5: I replaced the screen and midframe now new problems

I put a new digitizer, lcd and midframe assembly on an LG G5. Phone booted normally and digitizer works as expected, however new problems have arisen.

1) When answering or placing a call the screen immediately goes dark and you must touch the power button to light the screen back up. I assume that this is a proximity sensor issue, but what is happening for sure since the sensor is built into the mainboard?

2) Also the earpiece speaker does not work and the phone must be in speakerphone mode to hear a call.

Any ideas or tips will be greatly appreciated.
