Breville BOV800XL toaster oven: What is error E05?

I tested almost everything in this oven, but I never had a manual or documentation for the BOV800XL /A. The thermal fuse was continuous, the transistors, triacs, variable resistors, resistors, capacitors, etc. seemed fine. I did not check the transformer or relays. Here is a link to a version of the manual that vaguely describes the errors on page 54. My continuity test showed that the old oven sensor reads at about 125 kΩ at room temperature. Other sources say it should be in the range of several thousand ohms. Any suggestions/sources for E05 error code?

KitchenAid Professional 600: Stop working after being plugged to 220V instead of 110V

Our Kitchenaid have been plugged to 220V instead of 110V by mistake. After a big sound, the power transformer and the Kitchenaid stop working. I tested kitchenaid on an other power transformer but it does not turn on at all. I opened it but there is no burn smell or melted cable. Do you have any idea of what I can do to try to fix it?

Kitchen Appliance: Kitchen scale power button works intermittently. Fix or replace?

Hi. I have a Salter kitchen scale (Model 1008USSSBKDR) and I have to press the "on/power" button numerous times before it powers up. Seems to work fine once it does finally turn on, but I can push it (literally) 200 times before it works. most times I just give up.

I really like the scale, and it wasn't cheap. I'm wondering if I can somehow fix it. Not very electronically savvy, but I am mechanically minded and I'm game for a challenge. Thank you in advance!

Ninja Coffee Bar CF086: Drip stop light prevents brewing

I have a ninja coffee bar, had it for 2 years. The drip stop light lit while brewing, and wouldn't brew at all. I replaced the drip tray, and went away with one brew. Light returns. Seems to occur with unbalanced surfaces too, and whenever we slightly move it or shake it, the light MAY go off and brew for a bit. Has anyone taken one apart and disabled the drip stop sensor, and if so, how?

KitchenAid Mixer: Mixer going too fast despite adjustment

Hi folks!

Got a bit of a weird one and I was wondering if anyone had seen something similar.

It's an American model mixer, KSM150 (KSM150PSOB), came to me initially with uncertain history and no speed control. (I'm in the UK, running it off of a step-down transformer, which I know isn't ideal, but I have anecdotal evidence that this works fine for many friends with US model mixers).

When it turned up, the weights were disassembled from the governor and they were loose in the case.

I reassembled the governor and replaced the phase control board (making sure it was the correct part for the US model), and after that there was a difference in the speed settings, but all the speeds still seemed too fast no matter how I adjusted the speed control plate.

I then replaced the governor AND the speed control plate. The changes in speed between settings seem more pronounced now, but stir is still more than twice as fast as it should be no matter where I set the speed adjustment screws.

I might just have to give up on it, but thought I'd ask in case anyone knows what else it could be?

Thanks in advance!
