Sennheiser HD350 BT: ON/OFF button not clicky anymore

My 4 year old Sennheiser headphones started acting weird a few months back. The on/off button is no longer feeling clicky and requires some extra effort to push.

Regardless of push time, in 9/10 cases the headphones enter pairing mode. In the 1/10 cases I pushed the button at just the right angle to avoid it.

Upon opening them, I realised that the actuating part of the button (the electronic bit) definitely is mot as clicky as the volume up one and experimenting with a thin screwdriver bit made me realise it's a game of chance with 2/10 presses entering pairing mode and 8/10 working just right. The deciding factor was pressure. There is no blockage or problem I can identify with the exterior plastic button.

Is there anything I can do to fix it? Part of me doesn't want to accept it but it seems the actuator is soldered and not replaceable without significant investment in equipment.

Marshall MID bluetooth Headphones: Adjustable slider broken on one side

Hi, on my Marshall MID (ANC) the adjustable slider for slize on one side has broken, it now doesn't "snap" to the positions and just slides freely.
Is there a way to repair it? I suspect I'd have to remove the leather cover from the top to get to it, but I couldn't find a guide on this.

CMF Buds 2: Hey everyone, I need some expert advice on curing/solving the cut side

A double-sided flex cable has torn right at the edge, immediately next to a small SMD capacitor. This section is supposed to connect the mainboard to the battery side. Because the tear happened right at the edge, the original soldering pads on the flex are completely ruined/missing.

The Goal: > I want to safely find the correct paths to run jumper wires from the remaining components/board to the battery terminals.

My Questions:

Since the flex is double-sided and the edge is ruined, what is the correct step-by-step method to use a multimeter (Continuity, Resistance, or Diode mode) to accurately identify which side of this SMD capacitor connects to Ground (GND) and which side connects to the positive line?

How can I verify that my new jumper connections are 100% safe and correct before I actually connect the lithium battery, to prevent blowing up the charging IC or causing a short?

What I've done so far was connecting the FPC to the main board, and by using a multimeter I've found that the red side of the capacitor goes to ground.

I don’t know if that could have affected anything, anyone know a cause and how to fix it?

JBL Tune 770NC: Trying to fix left-side headphone and not finding springs

Hi,

I know that there is a right-side related question on the forum, but I'm trying to fix the left side, and I have a question about the springs

I believe it's a false contact between the left side and the speaker, because when moving the pad a bit I managed to make it work for a few seconds

I opened it up, and I can't figure what contacts are supposed to be the right ones to the pad... I saw up online in multiple tutorials that there are springs supposed to be there :

(there are also two really small wires, but checking the resistance, it doesn't seem metallic) (since they are really just under the pad contacts, I think they're the one supposed to be in charge of the connection ???) (I'm kind of afraid that opening it up is what disconnected them in the first place so I don't want to check on the other side...)

if anyone has an idea, it'd be great !!
