Vizio e60-e3: What do the tabs (COF?) on the side of the screen connect to?

I had the blue/violet backlights, found the parts to replace them, and now, while testing during reassembly, no longer have a picture on the screen. At first when I'd lightly touch certain areas around the edged, I'd see the "V" of the TV splash screen, but now it's occasional swathes of multi-coloured lines in patches on different parts of the screen.

One of the COF tabs somehow did begin to split away, so I know that one horizontal section might not be working unless I figure out how to fix it.

Even so, I couldn't see (even during disassembly) what the tabs on the left and right of the screen are meant to connect to. They seem to must be pushed up against bits of black papery duct tape, which are only taped onto the inner plastic bezel.

On the bottom of the screen, it's clear that the tabs are connected to the two long PCBs, but on the left and right, I can't figure what they go to. There's a little metal nub inside each one, about the size of 1/4 a toothpick, but there's nothing electronic that they seem to connect to, and nothing changes when I try touching them directly to the metal chassis.

QU-32: Channels 17 to 24 white noise problem!

Has anybody heard of a fix for ny problem, when I boot up the desk I get white noise static of varying amounts on either all of the fader channels from 17 to 24 and then intermittently on the same channels. Nothing connected to the desk, noise stops momentarily when I switch phantom power on but immediately returns, anybody have any suggestions??

Im looking to purchase just the detachable rubber light blocker on the face cushion of the Vive Focus 3. A double-sided flex cable has torn right at the edge, immediately next to a small SMD capacitor. This section is supposed to connect the mainboard to the battery side. Because the tear happened right at the edge, the original soldering pads on the flex are completely ruined/missing.

The Goal: > I want to safely find the correct paths to run jumper wires from the remaining components/board to the battery terminals.

My Questions:

Since the flex is double-sided and the edge is ruined, what is the correct step-by-step method to use a multimeter (Continuity, Resistance, or Diode mode) to accurately identify which side of this SMD capacitor connects to Ground (GND) and which side connects to the positive line?

How can I verify that my new jumper connections are 100% safe and correct before I actually connect the lithium battery, to prevent blowing up the charging IC or causing a short?

What I've done so far was connecting the FPC to the main board, and by using a multimeter I've found that the red side of the capacitor goes to ground.

ok so its turning off the headset after just a a couple of minutes i noticed today that i can hear a light double click sound coming from to front top of the headset every few seconds i hear click click. goes on every few seconds untill it shuts off when i touched it you can fell the click click noise but barely anyone know why

After not using my Sony MHC-AG220 home stereo in a few years, when I turned it on and tried to open the CD tray, all I'm getting is a brief grinding noise and no other response. My JVC 43" LED smart 4k HDR TV - LT-43C890 TV randomly gets the black screen when I turn it on, where the backlights have stopped working so you can't see the images. The image is there, as I can see it when I use the flash on my phone, and also the sound still works. Whenever the TV comes on and there is a picture, the picture will usually remain for as long as the TV is on. But then on random occasions when I turn it on it has the black screen, and it can be like this for a while before it seemingly starts to work again. I have tried removing the cable that runs from the power board to the main board during an occasion when the screen was black, but this did not power the backlights. Before I start stripping it down to start testing the LED strips, can anyone advise on what the most likely cause of intermittent backlight failure is? I'm assuming it can't be a blown LED, as I imagine that would cause a permanent problem? Any help or advice is very much appreciated, thank you in advance. Rich 👍

I have the white Philips DVD player, portable, model no. PD700/37. I haven't used in a long while, but it worked previously, no issues. The screen looks cloudy, but if there's dust, it's underneath the screen. The logo shows, the movie logo shows, then the cloudiness blocks picture, but the disc spins. Is this fixable? Is the opaqueness dust or something else? I love this little thing because it's light and I don't have to disturb anyone. Help appreciated. Cheers.
