Sony Television: shuts down with 4 blinking red lights

My XBR 65x950g started failing a few months ago. It would play for a while and turn off. Finally, and this is where it is now, the TV will start and the boot up process starts. Then the back light starts up and a second later it shuts down with 4 blinking red lights. I tried the BL_ERR pin ground trick but no luck. Same thing happens. Tried a new power board. Same thing. So is it my T-Con board? I have noticed in the start up sequence that a green light come on the middle board, then a small red light comes on and it shuts down with the 4 blinking red lights. I have a video of this sequence but not sure if I can insert it here.

75s555: TCL 75" 5 series TV (S555) with one quarter of screen dead.

Hello guys. I'm sorry that I don't know all the terminology, but I have a problem that I hope won't be too involved. Also, this this TV was in a factory where it almost definitely has been sprayed with water.

I have a 2022 TCL 75 inch 5 series LCD TV model 75S555 with a display problem that would manifest itself in different ways. Sometimes only the left half of the display was totally black, and other times it would flicker with white lines throughout. During a little troubleshooting I found that the ribbon cable from the TConn board (I think that's what it is. It is centrally mounted and has 1 ribbon cable leading from another board and 2 larger ribbon cables leading toward the bottom of the TV) had some corrosion on 4 or 5 of the pins. I cleaned the corrosion from the ribbon cable and I cleaned the connector as well as possible with contact cleaner. During testing I found that the problem then affected the whole screen. When disconnecting the ribbon cable in question I found that the right half of the screen functioned normally and when I reconnected the cable it would take out the whole screen. The faulty cable led to a board with several permanent ribbon cables which seem to lead to the actual LCD panels, and it also had a "jumper" ribbon cable connecting it to another nearly identical board. When disconnecting the "jumper" I found that the right 3/4 of the display worked normally. So the problem is definitely the board which serves the left-most quarter of the screen. I'm afraid the the LCD panel itself is trashed, but my question is whether this sounds like something that can be repaired. I will attach some photos of the components in question, and thank you all for your time.

Edit 3/17/24

@oldturkey03 advice, I masked off the smaller groups of wires one at a time until the rest of the screen functioned fine. In my case it was the third small group of contacts from the center. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the tape placement while the ribbon cable end was detached, and I'm scared to touch it again, but I will attach a photo to the original question showing the installed cable and which set of pins I taped off. Hopefully this might help someone else in the future.

My Beats Solo 4 has no sound in the left ear and will not power on, even though the LED shows a solid light when charging. I've tried a factory reset and changing cables with no luck. I suspect the internal wiring in the hinge is frayed or broken. Has anyone successfully disassembled the Solo 4 to repair or solder these wires? Any tips on opening the housing without causing damage would be greatly appreciated.

Microphone: Teardown help for fifine k688 mic

I need help opening the k688 microphone. There is very little information online.

I got the mic head off easilly with 2 screws.

The problem starts with getting the circuit out. It is held in with a frame and the frame is held in with something else i cant find. The circuit is held to the fram with 2 (3?) Screws that are placed perpendicular to the shell so its unreachable with any normal screw drivers.

The reason for the teardown is the usb C port at the back has unattached from the circuit/soldiering and i want to re reattach it.

Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro: Mute button and volume wheel wearing out, how to fix?

I bought my headphones in 2022, and they have seen some serious wear, but now the headset mute button while it still presses up and down, either doesn't mute me, or doesn't fully mute me (I can still hear a little hit of my voice through monitor), and my volume wheel on the headset doesn’t cleanly go up and down; You now have to turn the wheel precisely right or else one earphone is slightly louder/quieter than the other, on-top of a electrical scratchy noise when you turn it.

Any solutions to fixing it? I do own WD-40 contact cleaner which works well on my meta quest 2 joysticks, but skeptical of using it on my headphones because it seized up my switch pro controller joysticks, making them very hard to move and not fluid anymore.
