When a DVD or CD is inserted, the player warbles, spins, then “sighs” and fails after a certain velocity, followed by a rattle. I’ve cleaned the lens w/ 91% isopropyl (didn’t have 99% left), jiggled the metal lens/laser holder to get it unstuck, unloaded & reloaded the battery pack, but nothing! If anyone out there could help me before I make a trip to my local MicroCenter, I’d forever be grateful!

My Marshall’s stopped charging. It started with the headphones glitching and turning off randomly while I was using and charging them simultaneously(which in hindsight was warning sign), then after a few weeks of daily use with the same frequent problem described above a new problem arose, after trying to plugging them in to charge and failing to see the LED light up I decided to pull the cable out and plug it back in, during which I discovered the end of the cable coming out of the headphones was hot and upon closer inspection I noticed a light smell of burning plastic. And upon even closer examination the inside charging port was covered in teal patina, the kind you would see on copper that was exposed to the elements for far too long without any protective coating. How do you remedy this situation?

How can I Force the two earbuds to sync up and become one Bluetooth device?

They are coming up as two separate Bluetooth devices in settings and I can only connect to one at a time.

Is there a way to force reset them?

Disclaimer: I cannot Reset through the app as that only works with two of them connected. Right now I'm the wearables app there are two separate devices.

I believe i came a long way with my troubleshooting so far. From my voltage measurements the PSU motherboard works as it should, however there's two cables that goes from the PSU into the displaycard, one 12V and one 22V line. If both of these are connected and i start the TV i have 22V and after 2-3 seconds it drops to 19,7V instead and if we wait 20-30 seconds the TV turns off until i press the start button again.

What i found after this is that if i unplug the 12V cable from the display card and try to start the TV i do get a steady 22V and the TV wont shut off at all but obviously no picture. And once more if i keep the 12V connector in place and remove the 22V i do get steady 22V on the PSU side. The question now is, do i have a faulty display driver motherboard or is the panel itself at fault here? i'm lost dont know how to progress further.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Meta Quest 3: Update and restart loop

I have bought this device used, so I have no warranty.

The device keeps updating and restarting, side load update didn't work because the site said incompatible device or something like that, and factory reset didn't work either (it reseted and still had the loop).

Is there some different manual way to fix that, maybe somehow completely wiping the quest 3's SSD and manually installing the OS?

Panasonic Home Stereo: Can someone help identify the part I need for my power supply

My Panasonic SA AK 240 CD player from 2006 wouldn’t leave standby mode so I disassembled remove the power supply and found a part is burnt. I’m not even sure what to call this thing. It’s not a fuse and I’m pretty sure it’s not a capacitor it has no numbers written directly on it. I was hoping somebody would know what these are so I can try and buy a replacement piece. It says 05950 underneath

Apple TV 4K 2021: Is it possible to fix directional keys?

My Apple TV remote is working mostly, but the directional keys for down and left are not working anymore. Trackpad still works, as do the other directions.

I’ve already been able to open it up, cleaned with alcohol, but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

Does anyone have tips for other things I could try to get these buttons to work again?

Hi, I’m having the 7 blinking lights issue with my Panasonic Viera txp46gt30b.

I switch it on, red light blinks 7 times and then it switches off.

I have tried the general trouble shooting as well as following some online guides to try and find out what specifically isn’t working so I can fix or replace it but as of yet no luck.

I’m assuming it’s probably an issue with sc board but no idea how to accurately pinpoint it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Headphone fell from a waist level height say about 3ft. Left ear is shaking, rather sound doesn't come through unless I tap or twist a tiny little bit on the headband.

Beats Studio First Generation: Can I fix the cracked headband on my beats studios?

The top plastic part of the headband on my headphones cracked. I tried to fix it with superglue, but that did not fix the problem and the headband now looks tacky. Is it possible to buy and install a replacement headband? If so, how do I install it?

They are a pair of black first generation Beats Studios.
