I bought through the Free Market (sorry) a Soundlink Color, FCC ID A94415859, IC ID 3232A-415859. The problem is that the power connector has broken inside the box. There is no way to open it, because the screw requires a special key that only Bose technicians have. Can you tell me where to find it and the name of this type of key?

Hi, my speaker does not turn on, when it is plugged to the AC I'm able to see the battery light but it won't turn on with or without be plugged to the power adapter.

I already updated its firmware but it did not work.

What are the Red, White, Green and Black wires from the battery connections. They come from Battery Protection Circuit PCB but connection details to the Protection module are not mentioned.

Bose SoundLink Color: Bose Soundlink Color charges but does not turn on!

Hi,

For some reason my Bose Soundlink Color charges fine and is now fully charged as it quickly flashes the green light when you plug it out, however, it DOES NOT turn on.

I've tried the Bose Updater, but I don't think it even recognizes my device as it doesn't do anything. It worked fine about 4 days ago so I don't know what happened and why it's not turning on.

I've tried the 15 second play/pause button, I've tried doing Factory reset... and it can't be my battery since it's fully charged?

Somebody please help me!

I have a Bose SoundLink Color, the USB charging port and the 3.5 mm jack are encased in this black piece of plastic, which does not seem extractable although it has two plastic pins visible from the other side.

How do you suggest to proceed?

Two questions

My Bose Soundlink Color 2 seems to be temperamental with its lights - they sometimes work and sometimes don’t even after a reboot. Its a minor problem since the device is playing quite happily from my IOS devices. I have the latest version of the firmware.
Of my 3 ios devices (iphone and ipad) I updated 2 yesterday to IOS 14.6 and today they don’t connect to the Bose speaker. I tried the third device which is still on ios 14.5 and it connects and plays without any problems. I heard on national radio this morning that may people can no longer play through their bluetooth speakers. Is anyone else impacted?

My speaker stopped working 2 days after the ending of its warranty unluckily.

It doesn't charge nor turn on when plugged in, I tried the quick solutions advised on this website without opening it.

The only thing it did was being recognised by the computer through USB, and installed the software to use it though it did not appear on the list of connected devices.

If I open it, what do you think I should try to identify the cause and then repair it?

Bose SoundLink Color: Do Raycon earbuds not pair with a Bose Soundlike Color stereo?

This might be a stupid question but I have a new pair of Raycon Everyday Earbuds. I have my laptop connected via auxiliary cord to my Bose Soundlike Color portable stereo. This stereo has a bluetooth option so I was trying to connect my earbuds to the stereo via bluetooth but it’s not pairing. I even tried disconnecting the auxiliary cord from my latop to the Bose just to see if it would work, but it still wouldn’t. Is it because the earbuds and Bose are just both output audio sources that can’t pair to each other?

Recently my Bose was being finicky when charging. The charger had to be in just the right position with just the right amount of pressure to actually be operable.

Now, however, the device will not charge at all and therefore is dead and will not turn on or make sound.
